The MAs in University of Porto — Faculty of Fine Arts are graduate studies within the Fine Arts, Design and Art Studies fields. They propose higher training for the students seeking professional and academic excellence.

The institution has recently devoted time and money in upgrading facilities and material, hiring new teachers and generally improving its vocation as a place of learning. Our next step would have to be graduate studies.

The institution already hosted an MA in Multimedia Art - which has just hit its tenth year - as well as other MAs such as Theories and Practices in Drawing or Printing Techniques. During 2006/2007, University of Porto — Faculty of Fine Arts intends to create four additional 2nd cycle (MA) courses fully compliant with the Bologna guidelines, outlining a coordinated and encompassing training framework able to complement 1st cycle courses (BA) which have suffered extensive upgrades.

The institution has an ever expanding range of graduate studies alternatives and keeps welcoming students from all backgrounds searching for specialized training in design and the arts.

On top of that, the institution welcomes foreign and native specialists as collaborators and establishes partnerships with other institutions, opening its doors to different academic viewpoints whose strengths complement our own.
