Drawing Practice and Theory
This course springs from the need to create an experimental research platform in drawing, an independent dimension and process of communication, semiotics and osmotic disciplinary influences. It will devote itself to research in experimental drawing through well-grounded theoretical structures. As a student, you will be able to perceive drawing through historical, theoretical and critical analysis, a semiotic viewpoint over its images and procedures as well as intuitively grasping its founding strategies.
WORKPLAN / SYLLABUS
The course runs through a whole school year, totalling 35 credits (each credit unit equals 15 hours of class) and confers 60 ECTS. It is highly focused on experimental research and encompasses seminars, debates and workshops relating to practices and concerns specific to drawing.
